How do I know if my brake pads were changed 100% correct?

I had my brake pads replaced and now when I press on the brakes it takes more effort to brake than before. The car does come to a complete stop, just takes more effort. Were they changed incorrectly, or could it be another problem?How do I know if my brake pads were changed 100% correct?
i own a repair shop,and they should be better than what they was before,if there not id go back and have them checked by the shop that did it,they should at least stop better ,with less effort on the pedal,it might pay to go back and have them checked,and be there when they take the wheel off and have them show you what they done to it,,after all it was your money that was spent on it,you have a right to see what was done,i always let my customers see what im doing to there car,this way they know exactly what was done to it,but id take it back if your having problems stopping it,good luck with it,and be care full,i hope this help,sHow do I know if my brake pads were changed 100% correct?

It sounds like you need to adjust the back brakes to compensate for the front brake equalizer. Or you might have air in the lines.How do I know if my brake pads were changed 100% correct?
I have to wonder if there is the correct amount of brake fluid in system. Don't mess with this, take it back to the shop and have them check it.How do I know if my brake pads were changed 100% correct?
YOU COULD TAKE OFF A WHEEL AND LOOK AT THE PADS AND SEE IF THEY WERE CHANGED. ALSO YOU MIGHT SHOULD HAVE HAD THE ROTRIES TURNED WHEN THE PADS WERE CHANGED. NEXT TIME ASKFOR THE OLD PARTS BACK.How do I know if my brake pads were changed 100% correct?
If you had new discs as well you may have crap pads, otherwise the pads need time to bed in, after fitting new pads, I always road test a customers car and do several very hard stops from 70 to bed them in before letting the customer drive off, however if there is a problem, if you do not have ABS that is , the rears will lock when you brake hard, which is nasty.

There is nothing obvious that can be done wrong while fitting new pads to reduce efficiency, fail completely yes but not reduce efficiency except leaving brake pipe clamps on perhaps.

Try a few hard stops and if the problem persists take the car back and complain.
