Cost to get brake pads done?

I have a 2002 nissan sentra. I am taking it to the shop tomorrow to have the front and back brake pads checked. I know the front need to e replaced but I'm not sure about the back. I understand that it would be cheaper to buy the pads and have it done at home, but I had purchased this car last month with only 27,000 miles in perfect condition. So I do not want to screw up the brakes or anything else. I just want an idea on how much it may cost to have the brake pads changed. I know I would find out tomorrow, but I just want an idea tonight...lolCost to get brake pads done?
what kind of pads are you getting?

OEM (factory direct replacement) would be cheap and nice. (same ones you had before). however, he might recommend you difference kind. better or worse.

a normal OEM would be about 30-50 bucks for front set (both sides). 20-40 for back set (both sides)

it will take me 30 minutes - 1 hour to get the job done. i dont know what kind of rate he is chargin you... so.... do the math...

and dont do this at home if you dont know how. you'll probably forget to pump the break and end up crashing.... lol

Girl, fit them yourself... Once you have the wheel off, it takes ten minutes each side. Pads cost about $8 to $10 for a full set.

about 100-150 shops use ceramic pads and the only way they will guarantee the work is if they turn the rotors you wont need back pads but they will probably lie and say you do. DO NOT go to Firestone, Goodyear,Midas or any other franchise place like that unless you want to be ripped off. i own a mobile brake repair business and would only charge bout 60-80 thats pads and labor
