How effective is brake squeal spray?

I replaced the rear brake pads on my car not too long ago with some inexpensive pads. The brakes didn't squeal before i changed the pads but they do now and i attribute this to the cheap pads. Will brake squeal spray be a good inexpensive temporary fix?How effective is brake squeal spray?
just spray them out with water all it does is remove the dust but they will probably squeal again and this in not the cheap pads it normally happens when you don't reseal the little this piece of metal that distributes to pressure of the caliper to the pad and it wiggles causing your squealHow effective is brake squeal spray?
I've never seen any spray that is anything other than a cleaner or solvent. I wouldn't spray anything on the brakes. It may work for a little while, but how often are you going to remove your drums to gain access? A better solution would be to remove the shoes one more time and have a machine shop cut either a few shallow chamfered groves across each brake shoe, or one long chamfered groove along ( the long way) each shoe. Not too deep or the shoe may cause problems by falling apart. A good shop knows how to do this. Don't buy junk. For the price of 2 cans of that stupid spray, you could have bought a high quality shoe. How effective is brake squeal spray?
The squeal is due to vibration. Are these discs? then you need to put the spray on the back of the pads, not on the surface that contacts the rotor. How effective is brake squeal spray?
yeah, anti squeal is good. but you have to take the pads off again to properly put it on.
